This college professor loses it when a student's cell phone rings in class he then procedes to kill the phone. Taking the call probably didn't help much either. This is probably in an undergraduate class. Is the professor justified in this situation? |

dont wanna on the fairness without knowing the background...
I think, both parties are wrong. The student for not turning his phone to silent and worse for answering the call. The professor for slamming the phone.
With a level head, things would have been better and these occurances would have been prevented. The student should of turned off the phone and apologized for the distrubance. While the professor should of asked the student to turn off the phone or just leave the lecture. A level head usually is the correct way.
